RESEARCH PROTOCOL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN EEL INDUSTRY IN SOUTHERN AFRICA

Unagi Eels International identified a potential anguillid eel population in Southern Africa and contracted Enviro-Fish Africa (Pty) Ltd to identify the major research issues that needed to be addressed to sustainably harvest and farm the resource. A 3-year research programme was developed.
